In honor of Doris's birthday the Cypress Inn is offering the Bourbon & Bone cocktail. For those of you who cannot make it to Carmel to toast Doris's birthday here is the recipe. It's 2 ounces of Bulleit Bourbon, ½ ounce Amaretto, ¾ ounce Cherry Heering and ½ ounce fresh lemon juice stirred, not shaken. Pour it over ice in a tall glass, add a splash of ginger ale and garnish with candied ginger and a cherry alongside a dog bone. Cheers!
